red mail Stephen Procter placed in care after birth
I am looking for a Stephen Procter born 1953 in Leeds to Kenneth Procter, mother Marjorie (Coyle) Procter. He was put into care not long after birth from what his brother has told me. There was a twin Martin who died at birth and Stephen suffered brain damage as a result of lack of oxygen. Parents could not care for him at home. His brother, nearing 70,lives in Canada now, but was in Leeds last year trying to find out what happened to his brother. The parents both died in the 1980s. Can anyone suggest how we would go about finding facilities where Stephen might have been placed or where he could be now? I am not related but have access to Ancestry etc so doing the hunting for him.

red mail Henderson/Coad
I am looking for information on my grandfather FREDERICK ALBERT HENDERSON (b1876 in HUNSLET LEEDS). His father was GEORGE FREDERICK HENDERSON (b about 1853 in CHELSEA LONDON), who was a policeman. His mother was MARY ADA COOPER (b 1854 Sussex/Hampshire border). His brothers were PERCY, CLIFFORD, GEORGE, ALBERT and REGINALD. He married LILY MARTINDALE COAD (b 1877) in BEESTON, LEEDS in 1906. They had children OLIVE and MARGERY. They emigrated to CANADA about 1912. FREDERICK obviously returned to England as he died in DONCASTER in 1937.
red mail Hellewell-Greenwood
This is very tricky. Frederick Greenwood's death certificaten dated 1870 states he was born in "London" "about 47" years ago (though this information obviouisly came from his son), thereby showing him to be born around 1823 at the time of birth. Also shows him to have "lived in Sydney about 27 years" which means he came out here around 1843. I can find nothing to show proof of either though there is one Frederick Greenwood born exactly 1823 in London at that time. However, he married an Elizabeth Hellewell by banns in Sydney in 1844 but the real cruncher is his son, George Henry Greenwood born 1847, who does not show up in ANY birth records over here. I thought maybe the couple had gone back to visit the fam and had the child over there, but cannot locate any Frederick or Elizabeth Greenwood in England around 1847, and as BDM index doesn't show anything more than a couple of George Henry Greenwoods born 1847 but both in Yorkshire, i cannot be sure who those parents are. Does anyone have a link to a George Henry Greenwood b.1847 (living most of life and dying in Sydney) his father Frederick, or Frederick's wife Elizabeth Hellewell? There is nothing on the marriage certificate to state where they come from, no witnesses that offer clues, and of course no birth certificate of the son to state from where each parent comes. It's v. confusing, a total brick wall as i would like to follow the Greenwoods back as far as i can. Any ideas anyone? Thank you.

Archibald robert married Edith Winnie Foden in 1915 in the Parish of Woodkirk County York?...They had two children.. Jack Frederick born 1919 Bramley Leeds and Gladys M born 1917. The last known address was supplied from the CCWG and has Archibald and Edith Gregory residing in 1941 at Llanishen. Jack Frederick Gregory was killed aboard the H.M.S. Registan in 1941. He is my Grandfather whom my father has never known. My dad is now 70 and has searched for years for anyone with any information on this side of the family.
