red mail Kelletts from Wyke, Yorkshire
Hi, I'd be pleased to receive any information relating to James Kellett born in Wyke c1813 or his wife Harriet (nee Briggs) who was born c1814. I have information about their children and descendants, but would be keen to know more about any earlier family etc. Many thanks.
red mail Sellers family of Wyke and Cleckheaton
I am trying to find ou more about a company called "Thos. Sellers & Sons Cardmakers" that was based in Wyke (the 'cards' were for supply to the woollen/worsted factories). I found it listed in an 1822 trade directory but have no idea when the company was founded, or when it closed down (assuming it did as the woollen trade faded). I am descended from a Thomas Sellers of Cleckheaton and am trying to establish if he was one of the sons mentioned, or perhaps a nephew of the founder. He was born in around 1796, married Hannah Briggs and had many children. If anyone has more details of the company, or knows who Thomas's parents were and whether he worked in this company, please get in touch.

red mail DUNN, SEED
I am looking for descendents of Edward and Elizabeth Dunn both born in Liverpoolin the 1850's but met and married in Bradford and lived in Halifax Row, Wyke with about 12 children. The children were Mary E, Bridget, Edward, James C, Julia, Napoleon L, Winnifred, Rose, John M, Eva (my grandma), and Emma Jane (all Dunn). Both Edward and Elizabeth's fathers were called James.Elizabeth's maiden name was Seed and at the time of her marriage (1878) she lived at Hill Top, Low Moor. Her father is recorded as a ship's carpenter.
Searching for any info on Pearsons around Wyke. There was a large nest of them there around the 1780's. Later my branch seemed to move to Rastrick. Thanks, Bob in OZ
