red mail Sutton family of Slaidburn
I am researching the Sutton family whose births, marriages and deaths occured in Slaidburn back to the 1600's. My direct ancestor was Robert Sutton born in 1828 and his father was Matthew Sutton, a Publican. Matthew's father, also Robert, was the Innkeeper of the Bull as at 1822. I would like to contact anyone with an interest in the history of the village, not necessarily a family member, who might be able to help me out with some local history details, as I live in Somerset. If you are a Sutton descendant, so much the better! Thank you.
