Has anyone information about Harry Earnshaw, a member of Monckton Cycling Club in the 1930s. My father, Wilf Spurr, was a contemporary member at Knottingley Cycling Club, and always spoke in awe of "Shake". I believe he was a national time trials champion at some time.

I am looking for info on a Joseph Foster,He is my GG Grand father,He died in Royston,1899 and was married to Esther Horne from Staffs I believe,Esther remarried a Thomas Marshall later.I think they lived on Midland RD (Seniors Lane) Gertrude Foster,my Grand mother married Hurbert Taylor in Royston in 1908 and lived on West st.I am do not know where Joseph Foster originated from. I am researching the Grainger family who moved to Royston around about 1890 (possibly via South Kirkby)from the Netherton/Dudley area. My Grandfather was George Thomas Grainger who married Emily Caswell in 1907. My Dad was Jack Grainger, born 1912. The family appear to have stayed round Royston. Grateful for any help with this. Jean

Looking for information on a George Horner who married Clara Brunt in 1883 at Royston Methodist Church.Clara Horner died in 1918 and is buried in Royston Cemetery.They had 9 children, William Harry 1883,Emily 1884, Albert 1887, Alfred 1889, Beatrice1891, Edwin 1896, Herbert 1898,and Annie Elezabeth 1899. Any information about any of these persons, in particular when and where George Died and who his father was.
