*I'm searching for living relatives of my great grandparents - William and Sarah (Rayner). They married abt 1896, resided in and around Dewsbury/Ossett region early 1900s. Believed to have up to 4 children between 1897-1910: 3 sons possible family names of William, James and Henry, and a daughter-b Jun 1907 Esther (my biological g'mother - possible unregistered birth (?), researched her marriages, children and extended families, death). William and Sarah may have had more children following 1911 census. I believe this to be one of their sons *Heywood m Lee. This is all I've found to date. The brothers may have lived in other villages/districts in the region, however Esther remained in Dewsbury all her life.

Can anyone identify HARRY AUTY of SOOTHILL accused by CLARA GELDER of being the father of her bastard child born 1st October 1891 in OSSETT. The case was heard at Dewsbury Magistrates' Court on 16th November 1891. The child was female, named Gladys Viola Gelder. All information acknowledged.

Looking for family of Edgar Wilson, his brothers Ernest G b 1886, Harry b 1889, Hubert b 1888 and sisters Louisa b 1893, Myra b 1895. The 1901 England census lists them all living in Bradford. Their parents were Dan and Mary H Wilson. My husband remembers Myra and Louisa before his family left England for Tasmania, Australia in the 1960s. Edgar and Agnes were his grandparents.

Baker Family
Looking for any connection to the BAKER family. ROBERT BAKER was station master at Ossett. He had a large family of daughters, one of whom, JANE BAKER, married a SAMUEL PENRICE who were my grandparents. Jane and Samuel later moved over to the Isleof Man where they ran a family textile company. Both died in the Isle of Man.
