Edward Sergeantson/Sergiantstone of Scosthrop
I am seeking information on the family of Edward Sergeantson/Sergiantstone who died in Scosthrop, Kirkby Malham, Yorkshire in 1600. In his will probated at York, 2 Oct 1600, he mentions daughter Margaret, wife of Adam Swire of Airton, and sons Hughe, William and wife Grace, Mylles, Henrie, Christopher, and Richard. Also mentioned in the will were Roger Iveson and Robert Carlill as trustees. Land specifically mentioned includes Highlings in Scosthrop Field, headland at Garth, Hardrigge, and Aldmorland. My line comes down through Margaret and Adam, who married 11 Dec 1599 in Kirkby Malham. I would really like to find information on the other family members.
I am seeking information on John Brown born 1732 at Calton, Yorkshire and died in 1797. He married Margaret Parkinson in 1760 at Kirkby Malham. All their children were born in Calton, and christened at Kirkby Malham. John (1761-1842), Nancy (1764-1764), Thomas (1765-?), Edward (1768-?), William (1771-1812), Margaret (1774-1847) and Peter (1777-?).

John Ward born 1811 and his wife Margaret (maiden name Petty born 1811) my great great grandparents are listed on 1841 census as being from Gargrave, their children were John Ward, Sarah Ward and Thomas Ward (my great grandfather), they lived at the Red lion pub? on the main road through Gargrave. The family later moved to Everton Liverpool. I would be pleased to recieve any information on this family.
