father of amos wilson b.1870
On an 1881 census entry amos wilson is living with grandparents in thornhill. his mother was probably willis hampshire b.1849 wakefield, married a squire wilson in dewsbury in 1868, died 1873 wakefield. In 1881 Amos's birthplace is listed as halifax, (although in 1901 it is listed as thornhill, but presumably because he lived there from young age). Cannot find any trace of Squire Wilson after the marriage, or any information on previous family, but perhaps he might be from halifax if that was where Amos was born? any info or suggestions relating to this at all would be incredibly helpful

Mary Hitchen circa 1849,Halifax
DAVID HATT born circa 1847 at Swallowfield,Berkshire married at Halifax in 1880 MARY HITCHEN who was born circa 1849,Halifax.On the 1871 census,David was a Private in the 33rd Regiment of the Foot Infantry and is at Aldershot,Hampshire presumably at the Regiments Barracks. In the late 1870's the Regiment relocated to new barracks at Halifax,Yorkshire, when it became known as the Duke of Wellington's Yorkshire Regiment, and I assume this is how he comes to marry a Yorkshire lass in her hometown,as his Regiment was by then based there. They appear to have moved not long after their wedding because on the 1881 census they are living at Hazeley Heath,Hampshire which is where most of his family were born and lived. Can anyone give me any information on the 33rd Foot Infantry Regiment in the 1870's,were they based anywhere else in England other than Aldershot and Halifax?Did they fight overseas during that time?I've managed to find a picture on the internet of their uniform circa 1875,but can't find any details of what the barracks looked like or the Regiments movements within England.
