red mail Elizabeth Baildon 1708
Trying to piece together information for my Lodge family tree and am stuck at Elizabeth married John Lodge in Felkirk 1731. The task is made more difficult by the variety of spelling of names as Baildon was sometimes spelt Beldon / Belding / Beldan and Lodge was Ludge / Lodg. Records prior to 1700 seem to have vanished from this parish and I am now floundering, looking for options which will lead me to enlightenment. Families moved around, even in those days, and so it is possible that the ancestors of Elizabeth and John came from other towns, making the job of going back in time more difficult. The town of Baildon seemed an obvious choice to research but, as yet, I have been unable to make a connection there to Elizabeth or her parents Kester and Jane Baidon. Can anyone out there help ? Is there a Baildon family tree with these names on it ? I would be most willing to share with anyone who can help me.

red mail Joseph Moxom & Ann Haigh
I'm looking for any information for the Moxon family before 1807. I have Jacob Moxon born in Felkirk, South Hiendley on Jan-27-1807 who was a butcher by trade. He married Harriet Inman at Felkirk on Feb-12-1832. They had 1 daughter Mary (1833), 3 sons Joseph (1835)a master butcher, Thomas (1858) and Henry (1843). Jacob's father was Joseph from Felkirk who married Ann Haigh but that is all of the information that I can come up with. Any thing else would be appreciated.
