John Grime was born 1772, married 1807 & died 1832, all in Clapham. His wife was Hannah Faraday, b. 1771 & d. 1814, both in Clapham. Their son Luke was bap. 1808 at Lower Hardacre and d. 1867 at Black Bank, Peterborough. He m. 1833 to Mary Turner. Their son John was b. 1834 at Clapham. He had children - Mary, b, 1845 Clapham and Hannah, b. 1845? also in Clapham. There are other Grimes - Isabella, bap. 1833. Jane, bap. 1831. Luke, b. 1821. William,b. 1828. All in Clapham.

Margaret's roots are straightforward; their one daughter Alice married Francis Howson of Austwick in 1813; their one son Richard married Eleanor Miller from Halton, Lancs in 1814; both lines ok to follow. Hugh Clapham was born at Clapham 1740. He appears to have married Margaret Wilkinson in 1771, and they had children baptised in Clapham and Giggleswick from 1772 to 1786. Of these children, Elizabeth who married Robert Dean at Clapham in 1804 is of most interest to me.

I am trying to find out more infomation on Thomas Wallbank b1806 the son of Esther Wallbank b1780. He is buried in St James Church Clapham.
John Banks married Isabella Butterfield in Clapham c1794 children Thomas & Robert. Thomas Banks married Mary Wilcock 1828, children John, Joshua, William, Rebecca and Richard. Most of the children move to Lancashire before descendants return to Skipton area in early 1900's.
