red mail Missing Miner
I am trying to trace information about my GG Grandfather. Thomas Cooper I believe he was born c1810 in Greasbrough. He married Ann Chapel 19th July 1830 in Cawthorne. I am aware that they had at least 3 children, Ann, John & Martha. The only trace I can find of him is in 1861 when he was a coal miner and living in Cawthorne at Barnby Bridge. All information gratefully received!
red mail Lodge/Ball family of Cawthorne 1775
William Lodge from Felkirk married Mary Ball in All Saints Church, Cawthorne by Barnsley on June 6, 1775. They had a daughter, Anne on May 7, 1776 and then moved to Rotherham where a further 6 children were born. Does anyone have information on this family to add to my tree ? I am most willing to share.

red mail HEWITT - Cawthorne Area
I am looking for any information on the HEWITT family name in the Cawthorne or Silkstone area. In particular in my maternal line I have Mark HEWITT, born 1787 and christened in the old church at Silkstone, where he later married Ann HAWCROFT in 1814. There is also an Elizabeth HEWITT buried in Cawthorne churchyard in 1667, so there ought to be a connection.
