red mail Richard Shillitoe (1703-1765)
Interested in information about the above named resident or family. He is the earliest relative I can directly trace our family to via his descendant Richard (1831-1887) who with wife Sarah Saul (1831) and children left England for Australia in 1851. The village of Askern is mentioned too. I believe I can trace two generations before Richard (1703) but not with any certainty. The family appear to have been carpenters and masons mainly. Garforth and Campsall appear frequently in records. Any suggestions or information welcomed.

red mail REEVE and ISSAT (ISSOT HISOTT) family of Campsall
Looking for any information of the Issat family of Campsall, Yorkshire. My gg Grandmother Hannah Issat (born 22 Feb 1791) was the illigitimate daughter of Betty Issat (born 1771). Betty's parents, I believe were John Issot and Elizabeth Frost who married in Campsall 19 Dec 1769. Their other children were Hannah 1772, Joseph 1774, William 1776, Sarah 1776 and Robert 1778. Hannah 1791 had a son Charles HISOTT around 1816 before marrying my GG Grandfather John Reeve who described himself a "Machine Maker"(?) and was originally from Norfolk. Hannah and John had five children I know of, Mary (1819-1906), Harriett (1820-1901), Frances(1821), William(1823) and Henry(1827-1894). Hannah died before 1840 and John married Sophia Toes in 1840. Mary and Harriett Reeve both married in 1840and emigrated to Tasmania in the same year. Any information about any of the above would be very much appreciated.
Trying to find information on a Charlotte Smith born in Campsall in either 1872 or 1873. She married a Joe W Horsfield and had 3 children. The children were Mary E born 1889, John William born 1892/3 and Albert Ernest 1895/6. I know Smith is a very common name but Horsfield which was sometimes spelt Horsefield, isn't. Thanks for reading this and any info would be marvellous. Sandra
