I am looking for details of my grandfather's family (Robinson) who lived on Lord Lascelles estate where his mother was a cook. They were on the main York road where he used to open the toll gate to the coaches when he was little. He had several brothers, one of whom fought the zulus and in India and ended up as head station master of Ottley station. One brother rustled cattle over the Scottish border.

I am researching the Wormald family of Bramham and Barwick in Elmet, West Yorkshire. My Gt Gt Grandfather was Richard Wormald and he was born in Barwick in Elmet in 1791. He married Elisabeth Keighley on 2nd Nov 1812 in Barwick. He then moved to Bramham where he was on of the village Blacksmiths. My Gt Grandfather was William Wormald born in 1821 in Bramham, he was a Joiner/carpenter. He married Louisa Read who was born in Surfleet in Lincolnshire. They married in Hull Yorkshire in 1850 and had 9 children.
