red mail Help needed please -Hayward,Ward,Settle
My grandmother Florrie Hayward was born in July 1892 while her parents were staying with SETTLE relatives, who lived at Picton Street, Bradford West, on the 1891 and 1901 census. By the time she was 4 the family were living in Essex where the siblings were born and registered. I have searched for Flo, Florrie, Florence Hayward to find a birth registration but to no avail, as her parents were not married in 1892 I have also searched for her under her mother's surname of Ward but have not found her. If anyone has access to the baptism records of the St MARKS area churches of Bradford Western Division in 1892 could they check for this person for me please. The family remember her telling a story about her christening as apparently the vicar didn't consider Florrie to be a "christian" name, so as I cant find a birth registration I am hoping to locate a baptism, parents John Hayward and Rhoda Ward and living with Rhoda's sister Lucy and her husband Thomas Settle at the time of her birth.

red mail Where were baptists buried?
I'm looking at the Aspden family in Bradford in the early 19th century. James Aspden married Hannah Wood in 1811 in Bradford Parish Church (now the cathedral) - I have seen the microfilm of the parish register. They had children Hargreaves Wood Aspden, Tabitha, Mary Ann (married Thomas Turner in 1853), Henry (married Martha Eastburn in 1840) and Elizabeth (married Ruben Priestley in 1841). According to the IGI, Hargreaves Wood Aspden, son of James and Hannah Aspden, had his birth registered at Westgate Baptist church (chapel?) in Bradford in 1816. James and Hannah Aspden don't seem to be on the 1841 census (Hargreaves, Mary Ann and Tabitha are living together, with Elizabeth and her new husband next door) but I could not see any record of their burial at Bradford Parish Church in the 1830s (Mary Ann was born in 1829 I think). Anybody know where someone who used Westgate Baptist church would be buried? Thanks.
