red mail HONEYMAN family of Hutton Rudby
Trying to piece together family connections of my great grandmother Mary or Mary Ann who was born in Hutton about 1860. I know some Honeymans moved from Hutton Rudby to a more populated Yarm. They had butchery and grocery shops. As an old woman Mary lived at #1,Bridge Street. There was a relative named Tom who also lived in that street and also an Olive who lived in Yarm. Possible connections with the Ketton Ox pub. Mary Ann lived in south London for a few years where most of her children (surname- Whitehead)were born. William or Thomas Whitehead was an engineer and 30 years older.(Do not know if they actually married-suspect there's a tale to be told.) Eventually, the whole family relocated to 64, High Street,Yarm where the youngest son ?? Robert Whitehead was born in 1890. They are there in the 1891 census. Would like to know WHO Mary was connected to in Hutton.
