red mail Scales family
My mother Elizabeth 1922-1997 was born near Aislaby to Ralph and Lily Scales (nee Waller). Siblings were Ralph, Alec and Alice (d. 1949). Grandfather Ralph had at least one brother, who was a stonemason, and Lily had a sister Elizabeth (Lizzie), and a brother Robert (Bob). Other family names include Pybus, Hoggarth, Stangoe and Collis. I'd appreciate more information to help me untangle my grandparent's roots.
