Looking for parents/siblings of James WALKER b. 1795ish perhaps Baildon, married Elizabeth HARPER b. 1772 dau. of William and Barbara HOLMES Harper. Between 1795 and 1811 they had George, John, Mary Ann, Anna, William, and James. Names associated with the family: HARPER, WALKER, HOLMES, COLBERT/COBERT, BIELBY, RICHARDSON, MYERS, BROOKS and perhaps SOWDEN. They lived in the Pocklington area, Seaton Ross, Holme Upon Spaulding Moor, Market Weighton. I have run across a Thomas Walker married to an Elizabeth but I don't know if he belongs or not. This family was VERY fond of the names Elizabeth and William. James Sr.'s son John named HIS son Thomas. All of John Walker's children were named the same as his siblings.
