The Sellers family lived in and around Nafferton during the 1800's till approx the 1930's. They were a family of farmers and butchers. They lived in Coppergate for the most part, as well as Church st and Eastfield. They also owned land. The heads of the family were John c1920 - Alfred 1854- John Allan 1891. Can anyone help with this family ? This family's dates were 1765-1825. It looks as if James and Ann Botham(s) christened their children under the surname Botham and they then all changed their name to Fairbotham before they married. James Fairbotham became landlord of the Cross Keys at Nafferton.
