Joseph Harber (b. 1794) married Sarah? Ann Walker? Mary Pass? Emigrated to Melbourne in 1856 with his sons. John Berkeley was born in 1771 (baptised 7th Nov) in Longdon, Worcestershire. He married Anna Cook, daughter of Habbakuk Cook and Hannah Knight, in Longdon on 25th Jun 1801. His parents were John Berkley and Mary. I have not yet been able to trace the marriage or Mary's maiden name. John Berkley was born in Longdon in 1732 (baptised 17th May) to John Barkley and Hannah. My husband is a direct descendent of Matilda Gardner and Joe Sier.Their son Frank (b 1865 Wolverhampton) was living with an aunt Christiana Gardner in Ealing in 1881 and her children Harry age 17, Ada age 16, George age 7 and Eva age 4. Frank Sier later joined the army. His records show his next of kin to be his brother Walter Gardner Sier. Have never found any record of Walters birth which seems to have been 1861 but have found his 2 marriages and death.

In my family there is a tale that my fathers grandfather had a man collapse on the road after they had a altercation after getting out of a pub ib newnham bridge but i can not say which pub it was, but this man passed away and even though my fathers grandfather was cleared of any wrong doing, i wondered if any member might know of the incident which must have been in the 1890's time 1900's as it was said it was why the surname changed from bridge to bridget to bridgett, the bridge family i found in a placew called oddington, some being said born by the church so not sure again if anyone can shed light on that, if a parish residence? but then i see droitch come p fo them and i know one of the bridgets married thomas davies and one edith married a crowther bewdley way, that was when edith was a bridgett so double t on end whgere on cert for thomas lizzie was bridget thomas lizzie married at knighton on teme maybe that might ring a bell somewhere. also william bridgett at death was born a bridget but parents male were a andrew bridge oddingley. i relly would like to know more about the incident to the passing of the guy at newnham bridge what his ame was if any record of it, i know my great grandfather was cleared but it changed surname in family it was said, i understand there is still family in area but do not know them, of the bridgett family. i understand william died at tenbury infirmiry from intestinal cancer which i am keen to research if it has affected more of the family as it appears in alot of the family branches, so if i could be assured that it has passed these branches i would be grateful or not as the case might be?i know freds brother did alot of work on the tree but he had not done the lloyd side it said on the chart i would like to know if lloyds tenbury still there? alot of asks but hopefully the family tale will be answered. also dobbins married a reynolds would anyone know them from area?

This surname does not seem to occur in the locality before 1700, but is quite widespread in the area of Cirencester and Ampney Crucis (GLS). My great grandfather John Malin was born in Offenham in 1854 - he married Susannah from Mickleton in 1876 - they had many children. Lived in several villages and eventually moved to Birmingham. Johns father was Thomas but as yet I have not been able to find his birthplace -

Looking specifically for anyone descended from any of the children with further information beyond Thomas Henry and Mary Ann.

My grandfather, Thomas Ager Greenfield (born 1861), married Elizabeth Puxley. They had seven children, including my father, Thomas William (1892-1984). Grandfather was Headmaster of Stourbridge schools; the family lived in Pedmore. My aunt, Amy Greenfield (Mrs. Fred Swinnerton), continued to live in Pedmore, in a house named St. Rest, located near my grandparents' home within view of Walton Hill. John Hollingsworth, blacksmith, took over running the Bell Inn by 1830 - he was there when newspaper reported death of his wife Helen (Ellen). In 1841/51 census he is listed there with his 2nd wife Elizabeth and daughter Elizabeth from his first marriage. In 1853 he died of injuries from being thrown from a cart he was driving along the turnpike road, age 53, The licence was transferred to his wife Elizabeth, and she was still running the inn at the 1861 census. Daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Jackson at Pensax in 1851. John's brother Albert Hollingsworth may have been his predecessor at Bell Inn, but I don't know who had it before him. I want to find out why they came there from Cheshire. And are there any images of the Bell Inn before it was rebuilt in the late 19th century? (The name Hollingsworth sometimes appears as Hollingworth.)
