red mail Looking for George Harry Dunn's Birth Parents
Hello, I'm trying to find out where my great-grandad came from. According to most documents he was born 28 Aug 1883 in Wollescote. His parents were Edwin Dunn and Betsy Brooks. The family story goes that George was actually taken in by relatives. There has also been mention of the surname Stuart. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm so desperate I even had my aunt and dad take DNA tests.
red mail Pearson
My great great grandfather was killed in a mining accident in 1922. I believe this was at Oldnall, or Hayes colliery, but can find no details of this. Can anybody help?

red mail HART
I am researching the Stained Glass Memorial window in ChristChurch the Lye which shows the servicemen of the district who were killed during World War 2. I am unable to trace the history of one only name, of the 49 names thereon, this being a D.HART. I have found a copy of the Church magazine dated June 1950 which shows a list of contributors to the cost of the window, this shows a family member named D Hart who made a contribution. If anyone knows of any member of the Hart family who is aware of this casualty please contact me and complete 10 years of searching.
red mail Jane Weir/Wyer/Wire/Wier
I am searching for details of the marriage of Jane, said to have been born around 1844 (and confirmed by Q1 1844 Vol 18 Page 35, District Stourbridge). She is said to live in Carslip (or Careless?) Green, Wollescote. So far, I have her on the Carisbrooke Castle to Lyttleton, NZ, and thence to Newcastle, Australia, under her married name of Cox. I'd be interested in any passenger lists of the ship.
