Looking for info on parents for Emma,Ann,and Robert Roberts born 1808/11/13 and lived in Tenbury.1881 census shows Emma 70yrs Ann 73yrs and nephew Henry Red Hill St Peter.Henry was the son of Robert and Emma Britton,who were in Lima the time.Robert worked at Birmingham and Lima mints as a Die Setter.Any info wud help. Thomas & Sarah were married in Cheshire in 1799 but as he was in the Worcestershire Regiment their children were born in this area. The emigrated to USA (Ithaca, NY) about 1820 with a large family. We have the info on the family in North America as they moved north to Ontario, Canada about 1830. Does anyone have any idea how I'd find out more about their life in England? Can anyone tell me if they know the maiden name of Mary Page born approx 1827 in Tenbury who married John Page born approx 1826 in Tenbury. They had 6 children as far as I am aware one of which Harriet was my grandmother. I have a copy of her birth certificate but I am unable to work out what Mary's maiden name was it looks like it ends in ale but the start of it is not very clear. I have done various searches of different combinations of letters but still been unable to find any record of her birth or marriage to John.

Benjamin Birch Garness was born in Tenbury - about 1806 according to the 1851 census. He married Ruth Forrest in Dudley in 1827 and then lived in the Tipton area where he was a millwright. Their daughter Sarah Sophia Garness (born about 1836) married Josiah Kay, a teacher from Lancashire, in Chorlton in 1865, while their son William Garness (born c. 1830) married Sarah Holland in 1851 and then Susanna Baker from Lincolnshire in 1858.

EDWARD PRITCHARD born c1786 gave his place of birth as 'Broad Heath' Tenbury Wells, on both the 1861 & 1871 census. From 1841 he was living in Kidderminster with his wife Mary born Tedstone Wafer and children Ann 1811, Mary 1816, Hannah 1821, Martha 1826, William 1826,Susan 1830. The children were born around Tedstone Delaware and Sapey. Any info. on family or 'Broad Heath' please?

I'm looking for the birth of Edward Pope in about 1808 in Tenbury Wells. He married Sarah Corbet in Leominster in 1839 and lived in Lindridge 1841, before moving back to Tenbury where he was a groom. He lived Gile's Brick yard 1851 census and 38 Exchange Yard 1861 census and died before the 1871 census. He had 7 children the eldest of which George Pope continued living in Tenbury working as a carpenter. I am related via Edward's 3rd son Edwin Pope a house painter.
