I am trying to trace ancestors of John Biggs b.1813 d1869 married to Jane Nickless b1813 shropshire they lived in netherton then dudley. He was a cordwainer and she was a grocer. Trying to find date of marriage and John/Jane's parents.

im looking for any surviving members of the vincent family, my gran was edith vincent before she married when she then became a ward. she was born in 1908 and died in 2000, eight of her children survived to adulthood. i know that she was one of thirteen children but these were from three marriages as i believe my great grandmother married three times and had children from each marriage, i know that one of my great grans other surnames was cook, one of my grans half sisters was lily cook. this is the only information that i have about my gran before she married. i would be grateful if anyone has any other information. thankyou.

im looking for my grandfathers family, im told he had a large family and he himself had eight children, my mother being one of them, i know very little about him as he died befroe i was born. his name was walter ward, his children were as follows margaret, frank, derek, barbara, kathleen, colin, kenneth and john, his wife was named edith (formerly vincent). the little amount of information i have is - born 1907 - married 1931- died 1964, after he married my gran they lived in chapel street netherton for a while, when they hit hard time the children were taken into the "cotttage Homes" for a while. my grandprents then managed to get a house in spring road netherton and were reunited with their children. my grandad died at this house in 1964 the year before i was born. my gran lived there until the 1990's until she went in to care and she died in 2000.there are only four of his children left now and none speak of him so i would be grateful of any information. thankyou.

does anyone know anything about Susannah Siddons b.1845 in Bilston,Staffs.When she married my g/gf. in1891 she already had 5 children,William b.1869 Benjamin b.1873,John henry b.1879,Eugenie b.1881 and Florance b.1884.Because i don`t know who her first husband was. Icannot find her maiden name i cannot get any further down this branch of my family tree. Please help!

Can anyone help me with finding out any information on my G.G.G.Grandfather Enoch Read. He was born in Netherton and moved to Rowley Regis when he was 14 days old. He was a chain and shackle maker,and in his 50's he had a shop in Rowley Regis. He was known as Alderman Read.C.C and i know from newspaper cuttings that he was a well known figure in the area. He was married to Louisa Jane Hingley in 1880's and had 3 children,2 being Miriam and Kate. Thanks

Looking for any information on the Bannister or Baker families both from nailer families from Bumble Hole/ Netherton areas. In 1851 Joseph Bannister was living in Bumble Hole with his widowed mother, Ann. Around 1860 Joseph Bannister (b.1839, Netherton) married Selina Baker (b.1841; Netherton). They had one daughter, Mary Elizabeth (b.1860;Netherton). Unfortunately it appears Selina died whilst her daughter was still an infant & the child was raised for part of her life by her maternal grandmother, Lucy Baker. Any info gratefully received.

I am looking for further information on the family of Rosannah Heath baptised 1826 at St Thomas Dudley. She married Joseph Grainger at St Martins, Tipton in 1849. I know her parents were John and Jane and she had a brother, Samuel baptised at St Thomas, Dudley 1820. Rosannah and Joseph were living in Netherton in 1861. I can't trace them or Rosannah's parents on 1851 or 1841 census. Any info appreciated
I am researching the Grainger/Granger family from the Netherton/Dudley area. I am particularly struggling with locating the parents of Joseph Granger born 1825c. He married Rossannah Heath in Tipton in June 1849.
I am searching for information about a family called CARDO(E) in the Netherton area of Dudley. John Cardo(e), Miner lived at Woodside and had a son called Joseph Cardo(e) he married a Ann Hill in 1850 and Ann was the daughter of William Hill, Horse Nail Maker. In the 1871 Census Joseph, Ann and family were living at Twinpike Road, Kingswinford. Joseph Cardo(e) was a miner but later when they moved to Featherstone, Yorkshire they had a shop in Station Lane.

As far as i know they had 10 children Sarah Ann born 1839 and she married Thomas Woodall atSt Johns,Dudley on 29/5/1859,David born circa 1840,George born circa 1842,John born circa 1844,William,Christiana born circa 1848, Joseph born circa 1851,Mary born circa 1853, Frances born circa 1855 and William born circa 1858.
