I am looking for any information that may be available on Shadrack Carter B. Abt 1818 in Bewdley Worcs. togeather with his wife Sarah Bradley B. Abt 1817 in Pattingham Staffs. Their daughter Lucy B. Abt 1842 married a John Healey / Haley / Elly in 1873, she died 17-04-1929. Their children were, Michael, B.Abt 1872, William, B.Abt 1873, Catherine, B.Abt ?. Sabina, B. Abt ?. Mary Jane, B.Abt 1876, Rose, B.Abt 1877, Dennis B. Abt 1886, Annie, B. 10-08-1887. Think Shadracks father may have been called William ?. In the 1911 Census the name Kane appears under the name Lucy Healey. Have most of the family from then on ( some certificates ) but any information / help would be much appreciated.

My Dads family came from Tarrington being Davies his Mum was Lizzie who married Thomas Davies and her sister was Edith who married a Stanley Crowther their nee names were Bridgett , but i do know there were more aunties and uncles my Dad had but do not know where they are or where other than newham bridge came up, i gather parents of edith and lizzie were Martha nee Lloyd and William Bridgett they were married Tenbury way. I would like to find them if possible the uncle and aunts of my father who is still alive and i am sure he would love to find cousins as his part of family more or less gone , although he has nephew, which has brought him much joy.Edith and Martha lived at Lax lane as thats where mabel and fred crowther ediths children were born twins but they moved to Burton Terrace later on, i have certs for Martha and Edith death and Lizzie, and the father of Lizzie and Edith called William,. and know where they are buried apart from William, so if known that would be good , thanks to help from Fred and his wife Edwina, who i have contact with, but it would be great to reconnect with some more of the Bridgett line, as its been a side i have wondered about for years., hoping in advance Anne daughter of Ted or Edward Davies. so please can family get in touch.

My fathers side of family lived in lax lane for a while where fred crowther my dads cousin was born to stan and aunty edith or edie as we knew her, they then moved to terrace accomodation within Bewdley and as well as Fred there was also Mabel they were twins, Fred is a butcher i understand and married to Edwina with son Richard, i would have liked to know more about Martha Bridgett who was Ediths mother as well as about Stan Crowther. many thanks Anne

I would be pleased to receive any information regarding the family of Andrew & Mary Weston who lived in various properties at High St Bewdley/Ribbesford in the 1800s and are buried in Ribbesford Church Yard. They had 7 sons and one daughter Lucy (postmistress). I have traced One son (John) my direct decendant to Townsend Kingswinford and another son (Thomas b1826) had two sons (Thomas Eagles and Arthur EA)Ihave found Thomas on the 1881 cencus and Arthur on the 1901 cencus but nothing after that. As far as I can find out the other children never married and are buried at Ribbesford. Any information would be appreciated especially Thomas Eagles Weston b1860 and Arthur EA Weston b1871 at Stanford on Teme Worcestershire. Ken

BENJAMIN GRIFFITHS bapt. 08/05/1815 son of BENJAMIN and MARY GRIFFITHS nee FOXALL married15/02/1814 at Ribbesford Benjamin senior probably the son of JAMES and SARAH GRIFFITHS and was bapt. 09/03/1789. Can anyone confirm this? Or add anything else to this family. Benjamin jnr moved first to Birminham and was in Liverpool by the 1861 census.

George Farmer was born Bewdley c1813 and his wife in Ombersley about the same time. He was a joiner/ carpenter and she a milliner. They lived in Load Street. They had children George Edward b1837, Samuel c1838(who ended up married with serveral children living in Islington), Joseph c1840 (an apprentice draper who ended up a travelling salesman), Fanny or Frances b1848 (born in West Bromwich and became a school teacher/governess) and Henry b1850(also a joiner who ended up married with children and living in Sheffield as a carpet department manager). My specific interest is in George Edward, my maternal g.g'father who made his mark in Longton and later Liverpool as a businessman and local dignitory. His father is believed to have remarried c1880. any links or info on the above or their antecedants would be welcome. I have more information too much for this space
