red mail The STREETs of Wiltshire
I am directly related to William Leach Street ....however there are several generations of them. I am familiar with William Leach V and IV and even William Leach III but then it gets confusing as I go further back. The original William Leach Street had two sons and a daughter, they were born in Upavon William Leach Street II and Henry ....and this is why it gets confusing.....Henry carries on the name William Leach STREET when he marries Elizabeth Poole. He is a Smithy. What I am trying to find out is what became if WLS II ..... Did he not marry? Did he die?......why was it left to his younger brother to carry on the tradition of naming the eldest son ..William Leach STREET. Was Henry and William Leach Street's father the FIRST William Leach Street.
