My father Arthur Maurice Hatter was Born in Great Bedwyn 1909, he had family that lived in the high street, I think number 47, he had a sister who lived in Little Bedwyn and her name was Bertha, I belive he has family buried in the church at Great Bedwyn and as a lad he played in the copse over the canal, I really know nothing of his family and would like to know more, his father and mother although my grandparents are unknown to me as are his brothers, if you have any info on this family please contact me, I would be very grateful.

My Great, Great Grandfather was Sergeant Timothy Waters, born 5 August 1837 in Gt Bedwyn Wiltshire. He was in the Wilts Militia, wounded in the Ashanti war and awarded the CGM. He lived at 9 Cheap Street, Gt Bedwyn. His father was James Waters, carter for W Potter. He was born 8 March 1806. His sister was Ann born March 1839 and his brother was Thomas born 17 October 1835. There are many branches to this tree and I would like to hear from any surviving relatives or people who can assist me further.

Researching the Goodman family, members of which lived in Great Bedwyn, Crofton, Little Bedwyn and Hungerford during mid and late 19th century. Oldest link I have is my great great grandfather Charles Goodman, born 1844 in Crofton. He married Sarah (maiden name unknown, born Great Bedwyn 1847). Grateful for any information, however insignificant it might seem.
