I am tracing my family tree and looking for information on Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Goodfellow, b 1889. In 1901 Lizzie lived at Salkeld Dykes with her father Robert (a37), mother Deborah (a37), brother John G (a10) and sister Emily (a8). Lizzie worked as a domestic in Orton in the late 1920s and definately 1930. Lizzie lived in other villages after Orton, those being Ravenstonedale, Barras, Winton and Kirby Thore. She married Ted Tinkler we believe whilst living on South Stainmore. Lizzie died in 1976 at Kirby Thore and is buried in Long Marton.
