red mail Mary Harding married John Lee in Bedworth, Warwickshire, England, 1748.
John was from Corley. All their children were born in Meriden. Their first son was John 1750, the next son being Thomas 1755; the respective first daughter was Elizabeth 1752 and then Mary 1756. Their last child, a daughter Catherine, was 1777 also Meriden. John Lee son of Tho and Mary Lee of Corley was christened in Fillongley, Warwickshire Dec 1727. There are no other children christened to Thomas and Mary so assuming that Mary is an error and the mother is in reality Sarah Harris who married Thomas Lee years earlier and has children with him in Corley. John Lee and Mary have a daughter Sarah in 1762 their third daughter. Marys most likely Mary Harding 24 Sep 1727 BEDWORTH,WARWICK,ENGLAND John Harding Eliz. Im not too familiar with the Warwickshire area and topography so as to how likely moving between certain places in the county are (ie a distance of ten miles direct might not seem much in one place but in another with hills or separated by a river might be a less likely candidate). Theres a John Harding married to Elizabeth Quartering 1719 Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwick, England. Meriden and Coventry seem close? Theres also an Eliz. Beadman Jno. Hardin 1719 Weddington,Warwick. Theres also a marriage to an Elizabeth Graening 1719 Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwick, England. I think Elizabeth Quartering and Graening might actually be the same woman and Quartering be a transcription error as Elizabeth Quartering never seems to exist in older records. There are no direct Meriden marriages or any in Corley or Bedworth where their daughter Mary Harding lived and married. Any help would be great thank you!
red mail abel lancaster sr. 1719 until 1780 the son of John and LEAKE, Mary.
Hey there, Abel was baptised in 1719 with his parents as John and Mary. We believe Mary to be Ms Mary Leake. Abel had a son also Abel 1745-1838 Lancaster but it's confusing as Abel sr does not have any traceable marriage record whereas Abel jr could have married either LINNEY, Mary, or possibly REYNOLDS, Hannah. Abel junior's daughter Phoebe 1773-1854 Lancaster was my 5x great grandmother with her husband LEE, Arthur, and their daughter Ann Eliza Lee. Does anyone know who Avel sr. married, and which of the marriage records of the son Abel is likely to be the mother of Phoebe? Thankyou!

red mail Incumbent of Little Packington - Walter Locke
The Rev Walter James Locke was vicar of Little Packington from 1911 to 1925 when he died. He was married to Mary Anne Channell who died in 1933. They are both buried in Little Packington Graveyard. There was a window (The Good Shepherd) dedicated to Walter Locke in 1925. I believe the church has now been converted into a private residence. I am hoping to visit Meriden/Little Packington in the summer. Where should I go to find out anything further? Has the window been moved to another church? I would appreciate any advice about how to proceed.
