Mary Carpenter m William Adcock 1790 Joseph Carpenter m Sarah Hewitt 1795. Elizabeth Watts m Joseph Adcock 1832, Jesse Carpenter m Margaretta Randle 1826. Joseph Adcock John's father was a baker who died 1844 Elizabeth according to census remained a baker and died Coventry 1897 aged 86. John aged 15 9 months was in the merchant navy and jumped ship in Sydney Australia and changed his name to Hewat. Would appreciate any further information.

Amelia Spencer B 28 Aug 1817 Foleshill bapt.30 August 1818 Independent And Some Baptist, Foleshill, she married 1842 to John Elliott B 1818 Lutterworth, Leic. Amelia's parents were William Spencer and Ann ? I have found other children to a William and Ann baptised in the same church however do not know if they are the same family.The surname of 'Woodhead' for Ann was noted on one such child's record. In 1841 census however only Amelia is listed as living with them. Is there anyone researching this family? Amelia and John Elliott lived in Coventry, John was a Saddler and Harness maker. Amelia died in 1852,leaving two sons, they both came to Australia and married sisters.I would like to confirm Amelia's ancestory.

from the late 1700s ancestors of mine lived in this area as well as Shilton, over the years they have spread there roots, to Birmingham, Cannock, and other areas around the Midlands I have put these messages in the areas mentioned in the hope that one day,there might be a possibility that we could get in touch and hopefully meet up. One thing I would like to mention is my Grandmother Elizabeth Tew ( nee Purshall ) she married my Grandfather John Tew in 1875, wehave found that he died in West Bromwich in 1918, but we cannot find any trace of what happened to Elizabeth, we would love to find her Death records just so we can put our tree in order.

Amos DALTON b. 26 Jan 1844 (my g-grandfather) in Foleshill, Warwickshire. Married Ann THORPE b.abt. 1839 in Fenwick, Yorks. They were married 25 Dec 1869 at St Mary Magdalenes Church, Outwood, Yorks. Amos was a coal miner and the 1881 census has him living in Leeds Road, Lofthouse Cum Carlton, Yorks. Amos & Ann's children were John b.abt.1874, Ann b.abt.1876, Mary b.abt. 1878, Thomas Henry (my grandfather) b.20 Nov 1879. If anyone out there is connected I would love to here from them.
