Help please - g,g,grandfather David Stanley born Coventry 1815 died Shoreditch 1904 - David married Northampts 1841 (extra parochial) to Mary Ann Wood of London - they eventually settled in Shoreditch and surrounds. Looking for Cov. info re his early life. He was a cordwainer/journeyman - and travel he surely did. His father is listed as William, occupation Labourer on marriage cert. Any Stanley info from that time frame gratefully received = David surely had brothers and sisters.

Joseph BEASLEY(BEESLEY)was born to Joseph and Susannah on 09 Dec 1814, Coventry and christened 20 Jan 1815 in Coventry, St. Michael. He possibly had at least three siblings, Susannah (christened 04 August 1806, Coventry), Eleanor (christened 24 October 1808, Coventry) and Hannah (christened 29 July 1811, Coventry). Eleanor may have married William Dent in Foleshill on 10 October 1831. Joseph BEASLEY was apprenticed to DAVID Thomas, Jobbing Smith on 22/02/1828 by his parent Susannah, (Widow) Joseph married Anne LACY (born and christened in Coventry on 27 Apr 1821, daughter of William and Sarah) on 05 Jun 1837 in Foleshill. They lived in Woodcock House, Mill Lane, Coventry when he was a whitesmith, when they migrated to Adelaide, South Australia in 1840. I am looking for other family for exchange of information.

Harry (Henry) Thomas (Sutton) Adams, born around 1876 In 1898 he married Minnie Jenkins in Coventry, aged 22, a painter, father Henry Adams also a painter. The marriage certificate is signed Harry Thomas Adams. In the 1901 census Harry T Adams (aged25) is recorded as born in West Bromwich, Staffs (1876) Ida Alice born Coventry 1900, married Joe Bowcock Ivy Minnie born/died 1901 Cissie Irene born Coventry 1904 married William Johnson (my grandparents), Eric born Coventry 1905/6, married andlater lived in Leamington Spa Edna born Coventry 1906 married Charles Ratcliffe, 1928 in Leek Alwyn Cathy born Leek 1914 married Arthur Teates All marriage and birth certificates show the name as Harry Thomas Adams, except Cissies marriage certificate in 1925 in Leek, which gave her name as Cissie Irene Sutton Adams and her father as Harry Thomas Sutton Adams Harry/Henry died Mar 1944 aged 68 at Portland St, Leek Staffs at the home of his daughter Alwyn Teates. His death certificate is theonly time his name has been given as Henry. I have been unable to trace Harry through the LDS 1881 census on-line, I have checked the 1891 census for West Bromwich, but although there are Adams listed, none were Henry/Harry.
