Looking for further information of Richard Taylecoat born in the early 1400's in Chilvers Coton. The name morphed into Talcott, and the family moved to Essex. James the 4th, Known as "The Worshipful" was a founding father of Hartford, Conneticut and his great-grandson John was a Revolutionary war hero. In 1814, a Talcott descendant settled in upstate New York (Town of Wolcott).

I am looking for information about Eliza Rose Edge and Uriah John barton who married in 1902. I am particularly interested in information relating to Rose who apparantly lived in the Fleur de Lys pub in Chilvers Coton as a servant (then The Boot Inn)and there is some mention of her Mum being in the workhouse. Uriah Barton's family were originally on the boats but came off them as a conscientious objector, changing their name from Barlow to Barton. Any info would be useful.

My G/Gfather was Thomas Dickens (or Dickins)born in Soulbury Bucks around 1826 and married Emma Goodman 13/06/1859. They had 8 children, Lizzie, Charles, Thomas, George, John, Emma, Mary & the youngest Joseph was my G'father. Thomas's parents were Samuel and Ester Dickins.
