red mail Elizabeth Rose Cox formerley Hambleton born 1856
My great grandmother is extremely elusive and I'd be very grateful for any info or suggestions on where else to look! She lived in Vaughton Street, Aston in 1891 and 1901 and during that time changed her name to Cox (but did not appear to marry my great-grandfather John Brooke Cox)there were four children two were killed in WW1, one was my grandfather and there was a daughter Ethel Cox born 1888 who married Frank Payne, a butcher in Birmingham. Elizabeth also had an illegitimate daughter in 1880 called Jessie and I'd love to hear from her descendants. Jessie was adopted initially but was back living with her mother in 1891 and 1901 when she had, like her mother, changed her name to Cox. Elizabeth's place of birth on those census' is Birmingham but I can find no birth record and therefore believe she was not called Hambleton at birth. Another possible name I have for her is Morgan. There is a probable link with the Hambleton family who moved from Madeley to Birmingham in the 1860s to 1880s. Any ideas would be very welcome, including anyone who has heard of an Elizabeth Cox or Hambleton in Birmingham after 1901.

red mail Parsons Family
I am looking for any information regarding my Grandma's sister Rita Parsons born 4th January 1891 Aston Warwickshire, her parents were Harry and Hannah Parsons.
Frances Foxall was born in Bridgnorth ca. 1854 to Thomas Foxall and his wife Eliza. Thomas was a tailor by trade. Frances (Fanny) married John Spargo April 20, 1878, in the parish of Aston county of Warwick in 1878. The two emmigrated to the US with their 11 month old daughter Frances Mary in September of 1879. Frances Foxall had a rich history that involved widowhood and remarriage to John Spargo's Brother Nick in 1884. Nick's disappearance in 1899/1900 left Frances and daughter Marry in Waterbury, Connecticut, USA. Mother and daughter returned to Frances' family in Bridgnorth 1899/1900. I'm looking for what happened to Frances (Fanny) and Mary after their return to England.
