red mail Phoebe Collier (Wright)
Im trying to locate the final resting place of my 4x great grandmother, Phoebe Collier, nee Wright. She was the daughter of Robert Wright and Mary, born in 1801, in Dudley, WOrcestershire. She was baptised on 28 Jun 1801 in Alvechurch, Worcestershire. She married Edward Collier on 1 Mar 1824 at St Mary's, Kingswinford, Staffordshire, and had at least 3 children, Edward, Thomas and Sarah. I have found a death certificate for her for 8 Oct 1887 at 2 Harriet Place, Bordesley Park Road, Aston, Warwickshire, but I have no idea where she would have been buried. I have done various searches but as I can not find which parish she died in, I cant find a burial. Her husband Edward was buried 10 years previous to her, and was buried in St John's Parish in Dudley. According to the 1881 census, Phoebe was living in Bumble Hole, Netherton, Staffordshire, aged 89. Has anyone any idea where to look? or do you have Phoebe Collier (Wright) in your family history? Thank you

red mail Rainey Family
Looking for any relatives of John Rainey Born 1863 Birmingham. Father James Rainey Brother William Joseph Rainey?
ROSIER:William Samuel b 1864, & family.
Seeking any information on the Rosier family of Aston 19th / 20th century. William Samuel b1864 was married to Jane Amelia Goddin who was my grandfather's sister. Both the Rosier family and the Goddins were in the British Army in India. William Rosier was a colour sergeant in the South Wales Borderers and my grandfather Walter Elliott Goddin was a bandmaster sergeant in the Hampshire Regiment, which was the official band to the Governor General of Madras. It appears that after leaving the army the Rosiers returned to Aston. A later census gives them there with several children although my mother never mentioned having relatives, (cousins,) in that area. The Rosiers second son Charles Douglas was killed in Mesopotamia in WW1. He was a corporal in the 7th Bn North Staffordshire Regiment. The citation on CWGC gives his mother and father's address as 111 Whitehead Road, Aston Birmingham. Also shown on the census were: Roland Cuthbert b 1895. Amelia Dorothy b 1897. Winifred Ann b 1898, and John b 1900. These would all have been direct cousins of my mother Doris Ivy Goddin b 1907 and she must have known them. From BMDs it appears that Roland died Birmingham in 1962. Winifred married Francis Cliff in 1929 and died Chelthenham in 1953, and John probably died Birmingham in 1969. They must have had other connections in the West Midlands area. There are still descendants of that Goddin family in Sussex and Kent including myself. Any further information would be appreciated.
