On the marriage record of my Gt Grandmother Hannah Carroll to John Jones in Fermoy, Co. Cork in 1885, her Father shows as Martin Carroll, Farmer, in Tipperary I believe. I have no other information on Hannah's family and therefore I know almost nothing about her. I would like to know her Mother's name (it hasn't been entered on the marriage record) and what, if any, siblings she had. Does anyone have a Martin Carroll & Family,of that era, back in their family tree, which may help me fill in some blanks? I'd be grateful for any help please Thanks

red mail McLaughlin/McLoughlin
Seeking information on Edward McLoughlin/McLaughlin my g-g-grandfather and Ellen (nee Murray) g-g grandmother. I have their marriage certificate, they married in the Long Tower Church Templemore on the 23 of Feb 1857. There is nothing to identify Edwards family, on the marriage certificate, however through Griffiths I am have found possible links that they may have come from the Bogside area in Fahen street. However this is not confirmed. Ellen's father is listed as John Murray on Ellen's death certificate here in Australia. They left Ireland in August 1857 on the Talbot for Australia. We are planning a trip to Ireland and any information would be great to try to receive before we come over. If anyone can link up my Ellen and Edward to other family members in Ireland, it would be greatly appreciated. As I have come to a stand still in the Irish side for both of them. Regards Jennifer
