red mail Elwes - Mary - (Woolbeding - Sussex)
Would anyone have info on Mary, who was a daughter of the rector of Woolbeding in 1901 census. I believe Mary was an artist. I also believe she travelled , in 1920s to Chile. On return ship journey there were three ladies, all described as artists - namely Mary Elwes of Woolbeding, Margaret Gardiner of Kensington, and Lottie Fowler of c/o an address in Ayr. Lottie is the lady I am trying to track down, and perhaps, if there is any info to bring these three together I might be lucky. I think LOttie or Charlotte was married to my great uncle Gordon Fowler. He qualified out of Aberdeen as a Dr of medicine and seemed to have practised in Iquique, Chile. There were probably several children, more than likely born in Chile. If I could find Lottie's maiden name, what a bonus. Thanks, Ian
