I am looking for information on my ggg grandmother Hannah Allen born in Withyham in 1822. I know her parents were Edward Allen and Elizabeth Gibson and that she had an illegitimate daughter Sarah Ann who was born in 1849. I have found her daughter in the Hartfield workhouse in 1851 and 1861 but there is no sign of Hannah and I am unable to find any further trace of her. Any information would be very much appreciated.

I am looking for details on Lily Butcher (my great grandmother) born 26 Oct 1884 and supposedly died in 1904 but there is no record of registration that year for her. She had an illegitimate child which was brought up by the family. I think she was sent away somewhere, can anyone clarify this for me. Also there was a sister called Bertha Butcher, born 1888. I know she went to Canada as I have a photo of her taken 1917 I think about the time she arrived in Toronto. Searching Canadian records is difficult and I have found no records of her not even on a passenger list. She went to Canada with a friend caled Julia, is anyone able to help. Thanks in anticipation
