I am searching for any information on William Spice Tuppen, born 1827 in Wartling. The 1851 census shows him lodging in Herstmonceux, however he got married in Wartling to Jane Short in 1859. His parents were probably William Tuppen and Jane Spice who married in Herstmonceux in 1817. William Spice Tuppen moved to Brighton where he was a publican until his death in 1873. Any information gratefully received.
