Anthony Charles F Ayling
Searching for relatives of Anthony Charles F Ayling born 1931 in Steyning,Essex. Son of Charles John Shepherd Ayling ( Nov 1904) in Sussex and mother Gertrude May Strudwick. Anthony had a relationship with Eileen Violet Clark who lived in Lancing, Sussex. They had a child born out of wed lock in 1949. She was born in a mother and baby unit in the London area. Born Susan Christine. Records show that her father visited her once following her birth. Susan Christine was adopted to a family in Somerset and her name changed to Elaine Rosemary. Records indicate that her father joined the army and in later years emigrated to Australia where his parents had also emigrated .Anthony appears to have a sister called Tessa A.R.Ayling born in 1934 in Sussex who also emigrated to Australia but has since sadly died. I believe Anthony died in 1995 in Australia. I do not know his circumstances but know at some point in England he may have been a lorry driver and later joined the services before emigrating to Australia Any information that members can add would be greatly appreciated.

red mail BREACH Families in Steyning
In researching my Breach lines, I have found that: In Steyning in 1867 there was: Breach, George Thomas & Sons - wool merchants, fellmongers, parchment manufacturers, coat merchants, leather dressers & glovers, & manufacturers of wheel grease. Breach, Edwin - farmer, High street. Breach, Robert - wool merchant, fellmonger &c. (see Breach, George Thomas & Sons). Alfred Henry Breach was born in Steyning in about 1835 and was...... a leather dresser by profession. He had a daughter named Eleanor M. Breach. My great-grandfathers were George Benjamin Breach, born 1812 in Steyning, married to Susannah Hilton, and George Benjamin Breach, born 1840 in Hove, married to Carolyn Mary Tindall Schultze. Both of these men became policemen in Brighton and Hove, along with an uncle William Breach. I am NEEDING HELP establishing exactly WHICH Breach line is directly linked to my George Benjamins! We are most probably linked to John Breach 1690 + Mary Moor. Also, can anyone account for the supposed riff(s) between the families? This might prove helpful.
