Any information on the English family, most of my research shows many in South Bersted,and Felpham, also a few in Yapton and Climping, nearby villages. Joseph English 1738 married a Jane Hide in Poling Church, Joseph's parents were a Thomas English and Ann, I am hoping these names will uncover Thomas and Ann's details to enable me to further my research, they also had a Daughter Elizabeth 1742 and a son Thomas 1735 any details please get in touch Thanx.

I am looking for any information regarding the Lillywhite family that were in South Bersted in the late 1700's to early 1800's. Our family stems from Thomas Lillywhite born c1787 (born south Bersted) and his wife Mary. There were many children of which George, William, Emma, Mary, Alfred are some. Any help to get me a bit further back would be great.

Any information please on ancestry of John Strong born June 1814, South Bersted. Father known to be Thomas Strong, no info on mother. John married Hannah Whiting 1842 in Greenwich, they had a son Arthur John, then he married Mary Ann Looker (b. 1827 Englefild, Berks) in Leeds 1849. They had 8 children. John was in the Royal Horse Artillery, Royal Bucks Yeomanry, then became a Chelsea Pensioner. The family moved to Stowe in Bucks where they lived in the Corinthian Arch and John was employed as lodgekeeper

Thomas Isaac is listed variously as 'Harness Maker' and 'Saddler'. He is listed in the Sussex Poll of 1820. In his son James's will property at 69 High Street, Bognor 'leased to Mr Winecomb' in 1880 is described as 'built by my father Thomas Isaac otherwise 'Isacke'. Further property owned by James in 1880 is: 'four tenements adjoining purchased of Lord George Lennox also at Bognor and four tenements at Felpham known as ? Quenato Row
