red mail Read, Elizabeth (Betsey) born circa 1800
Hi, I'm trying to find information on my ancestor Elizabeth (Betsey) Newman (nee Read) who was born in Slindon, Sussex. She married Robert Newman in Brighton, Sussex in 1823 and had three children: Elizabeth Ann Newman (1824, Worthing, Sussex); Robert James Newman (1828, Stopham, Sussex); and Henry John Newman (1832, Worthing, Sussex). I have good information from the UK Census for most years of her life, in addition to the information on her children's baptismal records, but I can't find anything about her origin in Slindon, Sussex. I welcome assistance from anyone who may be able to help. Thanks Mike
