red mail Harradine/Comber
I'm trying find out who the mother of Elizabeth Mary Harradine was, born 1877 Hernhill Surrey. The 1881, 1891 and 1901 census shows her as living with James and Mary Comber (nee Gasson?), her grandparents, in Lower Beeding Sussex. In 1902 Elizabeth married Arthur Parsons, the marriage certificate shows her father as Edmund James Harradine. As far as I know James and Mary Comber had six daughters: Margaret, Elizabeth Mary, Ellen, Catherine, Sarah Jane and Maria, however, I have been unable to link any of them to the surname Harradine. Has anyone got any ideas?
