red mail CORNWELL or CORNWALL Family
I'm interested in a Cornwell family at Heathfield. John Cornwell was born at Heathfield c1829 -1831 (no baptism found) and married Mary Weeks at Wadhurst in 1851. He appears to be the son of Hannah Cornwell, wife of Robert Cornwell (born Warbleton 1794), but it seems that Robert was not his father. Robert and Hannah had two daughters Harriett and Eliza, but may have separated after Robert joined the army in 1819. Hannah also had a son James Cornwell who was born c1821 -1826.
