red mail COOPER was a Pharmacist in 1950s
Charles Jack Cooper (known as Jack), married to Margaret. Sister Eileen. Father was Charles Thomas Cooper who died in 1935 at Campbell Down. His mother was Alice Cooper, nee Stuart. Jack fought in WWII where he was captured by the Japanese in Burma and held there until the end of the war We know that Uncle Jack died in 1990, so are looking to find out if either Margaret or Eileen are still alive. It is unlikely, but an obituary/death notice would be a appreciated. Jack and Eileen are my 1st cousins twice removed. My father hasn't seen them since he was a teenager. Neither has one of our other cousins who is still in the area.

red mail Phillips J L
Could anyone confirm that Mr J L Phillips who arrived at Tilbury Docks from Australia on 24 September 1931 is the same person as Jack L Phillips born 1911 at Ross-on-Wye. Mr J L Phillips gave the address he was going to in England as Felphair, Bognor, Sussex. Was this a private household? If this is indeed Jack L Phillips, it looks like he returned to Australia in 1932 and his parents, along with his sister (Margaret), followed in 1934. Any information about this family would be very gratefully received.
