Any information about members or descendants of the Street families in or around Milford would be very much appreciated. There were a number of Street families living thereabouts in the 1800s and I have one of them in my own ancestral line.

George Kingshott born 1821 married Maria Gauntlett born 1823 in Bramshott. They moved to Milford/Witley Surrey with their two daughters Sarah and Charlotte and four sons Eli George James and John. I would like to know what happened to Sarah. She had a son John Marshall born 1875 in Godalming. She married his father John Marshall in Milford on 5/5/1873. John Marshall snr was a carpenter who worked on ships! John Marshall jnr was brought up in Witley by George and Maria.

ican just remember steve as avery old man . my mother can remember him very well. she used to take the reigns of his cob harnessed to the cart and drive down to the station.she lived at holly cottage where the scout hut stands.steve used toown the land where cherry tree avenue the by pass and the roundabout noware to be found.steve ended his days in acottage in mousehill lane wearing thick pebble glasses but always filled witha kind and gracious manner.he left money to the church.
