red mail James & Jane Evans - Aston Birmingham
I am looking for any information James Evans (born 1805)and his wife Jane Evans (formal maiden name Evans as well) born 1807 approx. They married in 1827 when they possibly moved according to IGI from Montgomeryshire to Aston a suburb of Birmingham in Warwickshire. Their five children including my GG Grandfather William Evans born 1836 were born in Aston. The family in the mid 1860s went their seperate ways according to the 1871 census - James and Jane to Stafford, William to Westminster London. Although this Evans family movements can be traced in the 1841 -1871 censuses the problem is I can't work out where James and Jane Evans were before they moved to Aston. If anybody has come across this family any information it would be great if we could compare notes/research.
