red mail Dead End
Trying to find details for Henry Brown born about 1875. He married Emily Gates. They had 4 children according to the 1911 census, Sarah, Harry, John my grandfather and Charles, but although they were all born with the surname of Brown on the 1911 census they all had the surname Hunt. My dad thinks the change of surname was due to an insurance fiddle following a fire, but he thought they went from Hunt to Brown but the dates look like the opposite is true. They lived in 245 Union Street Southwark. Any help would be appreciated. Nicola
