MAYHEW and DAWSON of Wissett - (Wissett - Suffolk)
I am trying to trace Joseph DAWSON who married Mary MAYHEW in 1809 either at Levington or at Wissett. Mary was baptized in Wissett, parents Robert MAYHEW and Elizabeth STOCKS. Joseph is recorded on censuses as being from Levington, but there is no sign of him being born there. I suspect that he came from Wissett when he married Mary. Any help or other DAWSON info appreciated. Regards Phil
