Descendent of Grazier John Julians Webb (born 5/5/1822 Wenhaston Suffolk) seeking info to broaden family tree. Married Elizabeth Catherine Winter (born 17/7/1831). Migrated to Australia on the Clipper 'Highflyer' 1867. JJ father may have been carpenter Robert Higham Webb (b 30/9/1793) m Mary Julians (b 1792).
Looking for information on my great grandmother: KATE AGNES COMERFORD (Katie, Catherine or Katherine). She was born in LEIGHLINBRIDGE abt 1873. Her father was JOHN COMERFORD, a farmer. I know that she went to WENHASTON, SUFFOLK & married HARRY OLIVER SNOWLING in 1891. The witnesses at the weding were WILLIAM & FLORENCE NEWBY. She then lived in India. I would really appreciate any information about any relatives past or present of hers.

In 1871 Edward Ebbs (born about 1862) was living with his mother and stepfather at Wangford, Suffolk, England. In 1881 was living with the Chambers family at Homersfield, Suffolk where he was a indoor farm servant. In 1891 was living with his mother, stepfather, and his half siblings. They were living at Ilketshall St Lawrence, Suffolk. He married Emma Tindale in 1892 and they had 5 sons, Henry Stephen Ebbs, Frank Edward Ebbs, James Stewart Ebbs, George Guy Ebbs, and John William Ebbs. Emma Tindale was the daughter of John Edward Tindale and Rachel Eliza Harvey. 1901 census transcript has surname spelt Eldis. In 1901 was living at All Saints Road Farm, St James, South Elmham, Suffolk, England. In 1911 was living at Cuckoo Farm St,, Bungay, Wangford, Suffolk. From her son's WW1 record it states that she and her husband were living at Halesworth, Wenhaston, Suffolk in 1917. Want to make contact with others connected with this family.

My ancestors - William BARDWELL of Wangford b. abt 1795(lay minister in Primitive Methodist church) married in 1820 in Wenhaston to Lucy VICE of Wenhaston b. abt 1796. They emigrated to Canada in 1846. Looking for the parents of both William and Lucyor any pertinent information.
Robert S McLauchlan came to Old Hall, Wenhaston sometime before 1894. He came from Scotland and had six children. The eldest was Janet Spier McLauchlan and she married Frederick Spencer in 1895. Frederick Spencer was a Wheelwright and was still living and working in Wenhaston in 1937. Are there any members of the family still living in Wenhaston, or does anyone have any information about Old Hall.
