Blake family
Have Charles Blake marrying Mary Ann Cullingford in Great Yarmouth 1821. Can anyone help with finding parents or siblings of Charles please - Liz.
Blake/Newson family
May I ask for more help please. I have Mary Ann Blake, who married Charles Newson in 1868. Charles was a widower b about 1813. Charles died and Mary Ann married Benjamin Eves in l839 in Blything. I am trying to find if Mary Ann's mother's (also Mary Ann) maiden name was Whitlock or Cullingford. Mary Ann's father was Charles Blake, possibly a blacksmith, who had died by l868. Many thanks, Liz.
Looking for information on SIDNEY SMITH(b.1840)who married ELIZABETH ANN WATSON(b.1834 Watton,Norfolk). Sidney was the Headmaster of the National School and was dismissed after a disagreement with the vicar.Their children were: HERBERT SIDNEY(b.1866 married NANCY?-he was a chemist and moved to Calne in Wiltshire.They had no children)and FREDERICK SIDNEY(b.1867 married ELEANOR MARY MESSETER in Calne, Wiltshire.He was a jeweller and watchmaker). Frederick and Eleanor Smith were my gt.grandparents. Father Sidney's parents were HENRY SMITH(a master mariner originally from Lydd in Kent) and PHILLIS DEAN of Southwold. They married in Southwold in 1823.They had four other children apart from Sidney; BETSEY(b.1824), ALFRED(b.1833), PHILLIS PALMER(b.1834)and WILLIAM DEAN(b.1837).He must have been at sea a lot judging by the gaps between the children!!!Elizabeth Ann Watson's parents were BURTON WATSON and MARY CARLEY SECKER of the Swaffham area, Norfolk.

Baptism of John Nicholls Vlieland son of John and Mary Vlieland is 18 Jan 1826 Southwold Suffolk. 1840 Nov 21st John Vlieland aged 15 drowned at Northfleet , Thames,dec fell from the rigging of "the Gratitude "Seeton sluice.

Died in Buenos Aires 1851. last contact was with two nieces Mary collins nee thompson and S.M. oliver , nee Hamblin. Could this branch be missing in your family tree?
