> Having just started on my wife's family connection to this area as they seem to have crossed into Cambridgeshire in the late 1700's from Lidgate WILLIAM SWANN,I beleave born 1734 this date worked from his burial date of 27 May 1831 at St Augustines Churchyard, Burrough Green, Cambridgeshire.said to be aged 97. Then from the Manorial Court Records of 1757 these mention WILLIAM SWAN of Lidgate taking over the Tenancy of property and Land from his mother MARY SWAN the wife of WILLIAM SWANN both deceased.
