red mail Wrights of Charsfield
I am looking for any information on descendants, and parents of a William Wright, born in Charsfield, Suffolk c1775, and baptised in Easton on 05/02/1775. William moved to Clopton around 1813/4, where his last child, Jonathan was born. What is of most interest, is if anyone is doing reasearch into actual parish registers in the area. William, was the son of another William Wright, (born c1740), who married a Martha Thurston at Easton in 1763, and he gave Easton as his parish of birth. If you have found this earlier Williams baptismal entry, I would be grateful for any info gained.
red mail Leicester Brock
I am trying to trace Leicester Brock who was born in Charsfield in 1888 approx. He joined the army but was thrown out around 1916 after being convicted in the criminal court. His parents Clarence & Annie(?) moved to Clarkson St Ipswich between 1891 and 1901. If you can shed any light on what happened to Leicester after leaving the army I would be more than happy to hear from you!
red mail TAYLOR
I'm trying to find the parents of Jeremiah (sometimes spelt Jermiah) and John (William) Taylor, born in Charsfield c1858 and c1872 respectively. They were brothers and also my Great-Grandfathers. Jeremiah was married to Anna Taylor of Charsfield in 1883 (another relative?) and they had ten children. John was married to Selina Bird of Burton on Trent in 1899 (and they had four children). Any help would be very gratefully received as there seem to be rather a lot of Charsfield/Dallinghoo Taylors at that time!
red mail Cattermuls/Cattermoles in Charsfield
Anyone have information on Benjamin Cattermul (b1749) who appears to have married Anne Gurling. They had 13 children. I am seeking any ancestors of Benjamin
red mail Marjorams and Leggetts in Charsfield
My 3rd Great Grandparents Stephen Marjoram and Fanny Legget were married c1800 in Charsfield, Suffolk. Any information on their parents and/or children would be very gratefully received.
red mail MANN
My MANN family lived in Charsfield for 100 years from c1780. However, I cannot find the baptism of my 4x Gt Grandfather, James MANN who married in 1778. Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received. I'd also love to hear from anyone researching the Mann family of Charsfield
red mail READ & BURCH
William READ & Elizabeth BURCH had 5 children: Elizabeth, Mary 1787 Charsfield, Charlotte 1789 Charsfield, James 1792 Charsfield & Lydia 1795 Charsfield. Lydia married William MANN in 1817 in Charsfield. Would love to hear from anyone researching the READ or BURCH families in this area or who can help me find William & Elizabeth's marriage and/or their daughter Elizabeth's birthplace.
