Hello, I am interested in making contact with anyone researching any of the following names in Barnham or nearby areas of Suffolk or Norfolk. Elmer/Kemp/Bass/Baker/Stephens/Dowsen/Barker/Clarke/Haward or Hayward/Aylmer/Sturgeon My great, great, great grandparents were John ELMER (1801) and Frances KEMP (1804) who were born in Barnham. John and Frances emigrated to Van Dieman's Land, now Tasmania, Australia. The other names are all those of their forebears.

He is believed to have worked in the Armed Forces & to have married a woman named Bertha & to have had a son Richard.

Searching for information on Mary Beals born Ixworth around 1790. Possibly daughter of John and Ann Beals/Bales (nee Psalter/Salter) who was baptised at Barnham 29 Nov 1790. She married Jesse Jones at St. Marylebone, London in 1810 and died in 1852 at Colchester, Essex. Possible siblings were a Betty, John and William. Any information on these Beals or Psalter families appreciated.
